Esin Gurpinar was a Penn undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry. She worked in the lab from September 2012 to July 2014. She was also a member of the Penn World Scholars program and the Assembly of International Students at Penn. Esin is from Cyprus in the Mediterranean. She graduated in 2014 and went on to work as a research specialist with Andrew Kruse at Harvard University.
